Traditional corporate mapping services monetize this historical telemetry, creating permanent spatial records of your movements.

For developers testing localized application bounds, or privacy advocates looking to obscure their spatial data footprints, this constant back-end tracking poses massive data sovereignty risks and violates cross-border user isolation parameters.

The Engineering Solution

Sovereign On-Device GPS Virtualization

I engineered MockLoc to completely break this telemetry loop. By isolating data hooks locally and bypassing remote tracking architectures entirely, coordinates are calculated on-device. Street addresses are processed dynamically over secure channels using open, non-tracking geocoding engines.
